SERVICES

At the Murri School we provide our students with the support they need to do their best in the classroom and the community.  For more information on these services please contact us at info@murrischool.qld.edu.au or call us on (07) 3255 6133.

THE MURRI SCHOOL BUS

The Murri School Bus Service transports our students to and from school where possible. The bus fee is $1.00 per day and can be paid to the bus driver on a daily, weekly or fortnightly basis.  We currently service areas in Ipswich, Logan, the Bayside and the City.

THE MURRI SCHOOL HEALTH CENTRE

The Murri School Health Centre provides a free healthcare service to our students. We have an onsite nurse who is available to assist our students with first aid, health education, medical assessments and referrals to allied health care providers. The centre is open during school days from 8:00am to 3:30pm

THE MURRI SCHOOL TUCKSHOP

The Murri School Tuckshop provides healthy and affordable meals from breakfast to big lunch. Nutritious foods give our students the energy needed to grow and learn.

THE FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICE

The Murri School Family Support Service assists our students and their families in a range of areas including; health, housing, counselling and education. We offer both short term and long term support to those that need our assistance. We can also make referrals to specialised help when required. We remain in contact with our families during the transition to external service providers.

Our main catchment area is Acacia Ridge and surrounding areas, including the suburbs where our students reside. While we are primarily an Indigenous service, we can assist any person seeking support, information or referrals.
